About

I am an Assistant Professor of Education and the Coordinator of the Job-Embedded Practitioner Program at a small Liberal Arts university in East Tennessee. I came into the teaching career later in life, but have had multiple different types of experiences as a teacher. I have taught classes in Criminal Justice, Adult Education, and Education, and I am constantly striving for more ways to positively influence the education system. I am one of those people that believes that if you want to change the world, you change the educational system, including the opportunities afforded to all students and teachers to learn and the ways in which we relate to each other. I am a firm believer that the relationships we build with our students can make the difference in student success in the future. I am just here to make my mark and sign it.
